Who we are

The leading museum on the Costa Brava, connecting society with the trade and history of our seafaring people.

Through the permanent exhibition, we highlight the maritime and fishing heritage that defines us; in the gastronomic classroom, we promote the local seafood that sets us apart, and we maintain a conscious outlook towards the sea.

What we do?

We make the heart of maritime culture beat with proposals such as visits to the fish auction, cooking workshops and tastings of local seafood at the Espai del Peix, visits to fishing boats and Pescaturisme Palamós trips.

Buy your tickets online in advance or at the Museum itself.

October to April

Tuesday to Friday 10:00 am – 1:30 pm and 3:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Weekends and public holidays 10:00 am – 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Closed on January 1 and 6, and December 25 and 26.

May, June and September
